The Mystery of the Way...

As we continue our exploration of faith, family and freedom we've found ourselves examining the mystery of The Way (and the mystery of faith).

This time our stop was in The Black Forest, Germany, whilst navigating a path through the COVID-19 pandemic too! At the recommendation of a friend we stayed in the spa town of Bad Liebenzell, Baden-Württemburg, at Campingpark Bad Liebenzell. This was a great base from which to explore some of the many, many interesting things to do in this part of The Black Forest.

We took the time to walk the hiking trails, cycle the flat river paths, use the outdoor swimming pool (Freibad, Bad Liebenzell), play in the central park, learn the legend of the local giant, pause for thought in the Sophi Park (that celebrates philosophy), and chill out and enjoy some adult-only time at the thermal spa baths and saunas. This time of relaxation and reflection prompted to us to consider the purpose of The Way and the mystery that it is to us.
