What a find this overnight parking spot was! In the centre of Brussels, minutes away from a tram stop and behind a secure wall, the motorhome parking spots offered by the Youth Hostel Generation Europe made for easy exploring of this city.

We drove in off the R0 ring road along fairly good roads - although some did have trams running down the middle! At 30 euro a night for our motorhome and the five us we felt blessed to discover this included breakfast as well! Cue 3 happy girls tucking into cereal, bread, chocolate spread, cheese and ham! There were smiles all round, especially as the coffee wasn’t too bad!

The hostel offered hot showers, water, electric hook-up and grey-water emptying points. We also found a moment to relax in the café bar area, playing pool and table football.

The icing on the cake was the team kindly letting us stay parked beyond the 12pm check-out, enabling us to explore the city for the day and leave mid-afternoon.

This is one stop point we would come back to!

Address: Rue de l'Éléphant 4, 1080 Bruxelles, Belgium
